Theme For Volume 24
of Ray Nascent:
Hurricane Katrina has been the most devastating
storm to date in the United States. The people of New Orleans
woke up the following day to breeched levies, fires, and a city
that
was 80% inundated. Millions of people have been displaced, uprooted,
and beginning to make the first conscious leap that they alone
have their own destiny within their hands. Police, firemen, politicians,
and emergency workers can not keep the system from falling apart
in a disaster of this magnitude. And meanwhile, the sleeper tosses
in fits in his bed, unaware that the nightmares are his own creation.
Instead, he questions his reality, his faith, his government,
his own existence. What is the meaning of Katrina? Why has this
befallen us? Those are the cries we hear now. The trauma of the
Shift begins. The answers are in the symbols of the dream images
the Mass Mind has chosen
to
create. The answer lies in the image of a spiraling hurricane
headed for the bowl city of New Orleans.

Duality Trap: Divine Will
In this paternalistic age, God
the Father has become more and more like the ancient figure of
Jehovah in the old testament: a God of wrath. Horrific wars,
nuclear warfare, AIDS, terrorism, hurricanes and natural disaster
abound. With the lightening speed of global communication every
single person on the planet is made aware when another disaster
has occurred. They are signals to the Divine Consciousness that
the Spirit of Earth is unbalanced, in dis-ease, much like waves
of nausea signal the coming of a viral flue.
During these times we hear many
people returning to their religious faith. You see people hunker
down against the winds of change - unable to move from their
jobs,
their homes,
their spouses or children, for fear they will lose it all. They
look for something or someone outside themselves that can reassure
them that everything is under control. They look to government,
politicians, police, neighbors, spouses, jobs -- any part of
the system they have come to rely on and be supported by. When
these systems fail, trauma sets in if that person has no faith
in their own Self to survive.
In truth, physical survival is
not what it is all about. Evolution is what it is all about.
We are so determined in this day and age to "save our lives"
that those very lives sometimes become stale and worthless.
Hurricanes are great symbols of
evolution for they exemplify the golden phi ratio of all living
beings. They are the spiral dream symbol of growth and power.
They are the Divine Feminine wedded to the Divine Masculine.
They are the perfection of creation in full power but with no
conscious intent to harm. They are indiscriminate in their journey
but appear to follow patterns that sometimes target the same
regions of Earth over and over. They are the Kundalini arising
to propel humanity to the 5th dimension.
When the Mass Mind dreams, it doesn't
make judgments on whether something is right or wrong. It merely
chooses based on what the predominant belief system is. Each
individual contributes to that conglomeration of energies that
we call the Mass Mind. To change the imagery, we must change
our very Selves and align with systems of harmony that use the
Divine Feminine in conjunction with the Divine Masculine. Every
single person on the planet makes a contribution to the appearances
of these natural disasters. They are not acts of God, not Divine
Will, nor are they random acts of violence by Mother Nature.
They are the
symbols
of our own inner Self as we struggle to reclaim sovereignty
over our own creations.
The sacred chalice is always a
symbol of the Divine Feminine. New Orleans in built in a bowl
- a chalice. Water is a symbol of emotion. The spiral is a symbol
of perfection. Death
and destruction
are
symbols of change. Katrina is purity of experience - Kali the
dark Goddess who insists on being honored just as the Male Divine
has been honored throughout the age of Pisces. The Divine Feminine
isn't just about the humble form of Mary, Jesus'
mother.
She
can be
fierce and protective
of her domain as well. The Divine Feminine is coming to power.
Of that, I am absolutely certain. But, she is not asking to take
charge, she is merely asking to be recognized as an important
aspect of our own Divinity. Does this understanding make the
passage of Hurricane Katrina any
less
traumatic? No.
Many
teachers
now
have
warned that unless humanity begins to understand their own
role in the creation of these events, we will continue to suffer
many
more traumatic events. This isn't to place "blame" on us as
a species, it is to bring in knowledge that judgment is unnecessary.
Creation is what it is and we are the Creators - no outside
agents
or agencies are doing it for us. By integrating and inviting
the Divine Feminine within our own hearts, and upholding and
encouraging the same in the hearts of men as well, we will
begin to open up the well of emotion that is seeking to be expressed.
Within that simple action, we will change the weather patterns
in such a manner that respects both the Male and Female polarity
within the blueprint of this reality. Then, we will not force
large portions of ourSelves to open traumatically to compassion,
kindness, patience, endurance, and community via violent means.
