The Phantom of the Opera:

“His voice calls to her, nurturing her extraordinary talents from the shadows of the opera house where innocent chorus girl Christine Daae (Emmy Rossum) makes her home. Only ballet mistress Madame Giry (Miranda Richardson) knows that Christine’s mysterious “Angel of Music” is actually the Phantom (Gerard Butler), a disfigured musical genius who haunts the catacombs of the theatre, terrifying the ensemble of artists who live and work there.” Excerpt from the following site:

Higher Self Tech: Reconfiguration

If we truly knew we were Creators of our own reality, why should we not have the capablity to create what we want? The potential lies dormant and unused, unrecognized and hidden. The Elias teachings talks about how to reconfigure energy so that we not only are able to accept and trust our creations, but we can also change them in the moment! Much like Christine, the heroine of the phantom of the opera, changed her reality with a single kiss.

To have the ability to reconfigure our reality, we must first understand that we are the sole creators of it. No one else creates our reality for us. If we believe others create our reality for us, then we are subject to an outside control and we might as well play the part of the victim since we have “no other choice.” We can understand our role in our private universe or we can deny it, but that doesn’t change the fact that we are experiencing that which we have chosen to experience, nothing less or more.

However, once we understand this and can accept it without anger or frustration, does that mean we need to adopt an attitude of resignation in the face of constant upheavals? Or can we have hope that we can change our circumstances? I do believe we are constantly “reconfiguring” our reality. However, much like Jimmy Stewart on “It’s a Wonderful Life,” we don’t know what we’ve reconfigured because we don’t have the luxury of seeing what would have happened had we not been present to affect our reality! So, the trick is not to learn how to reconfigure, but to pay attention when an energy shift has occurred and what your state of being was when the energy shifted.

For a week pay attention to your interactions with people. We always know when a conversation isn’t going well. We have that feeling we aren’t communicating or we get a knot in our stomach about not being properly understood. What happens when you feel this way? Which way does the energy progress. Now, next time that happens, take a deep breath. You are about to reconfigure your reality in the moment! Reach inside and shift your perception slightly, such that this is no longer an argument but a friend trying very hard to help you. You are grateful for their help. You feel the warmth of empathic understanding and have the knowledge to know that nothing this person does is wrong because they are merely a reflection of you. They can not say anything that won’t be of value to you. How does that perception shift the energy in the conversation?

Reconfiguration is a subtle art but one worth noticing. Like Christine’s kiss, we may not even know why or how we are doing it, only that it can be done and it will change our world.
