The Enchanting Entrance

Michael Matson may not be a metaphysician but he certainly understands that we are all magicians! His advice to stage magicians on how to set the mood or understand the energy one is working with is quite insightful. I love the way he talks about how the stage magician has to put out a certain image. And in that image is contained the words: I, mage. Read this article not as an apprentice stage magician but as a spiritual principle of how to set the stage for magic in your own life. I have to wonder if he has understood his different walks also, since he clearly relates them to: wind, earth, fire, and water -- all magical elements.

Synchronicity and Magic

What does religion and magic have to do with each other? How did the separation between magic and religion occur? How has science replaced our newest need for magic in our lives? Finally, this article (which is an absolute must-read) talks about the archetypes where magic springs forth from. There is also a bit about how magic in the Western view may be viewed as a cause and effect system, but in reality, it is not! Understanding this concept alone will springboard your own creative potential into newer possibilities of magical moments.

A Beginner's Guide To Constructing The Universe

In this review of Michael Schneider's book, we learn that even numbers have archetypes. These archetypes are associated with the basis of magical energies and explains why learning qualities and properties of numbers instead of just quantity will enliven our sense of magic in the world. I have read his book "A Beginner's Guide To Constructing The Universe" and it is on my list of Most Mind-Bending Books/Videos I Know Of located on Amazon's Listmania. Order it below:

Higher Self Tech: Accepting Magic

There are two areas of life that most people want to generate magic: in their relationships and in their finances. The two appear to be distinctly different areas of life, but in Creation philosophy creating the relationship of your dreams is no different that creating financial abundance. They both involved the same: magic.

What is the best way to learn how to create magic? It is to understand that we already do this day in and day out, we merely do not notice what we are doing. To be quite blunt, the creation of poverty is as magical as the creation of wealth. The creation of celibacy is exactly the same magic as the creation of promiscuity. And the creation of money magic is exactly the same process as the creation of relationship magic. We do it everyday. Some days we create poverty, some days we create wealth. We are still responsible for what we create and are the Creators of our own reality. Just because it isn't a conscious magical act, does not make it less magical!

So, what we are trying to do is not learn how to create magic but actually to accept the fact that we are magical beings! But, we don't believe it because we've been taught from birth that we are actually limited beings. So, what we must do to understand our true Divine Nature is to begin to notice the moments when we have created something magical. We begin by looking around and appreciating our moments of magic.

I have many moments of magic that occur in my day. I will concentrate on a pair of boots and decide they are too expensive and the heel too high. A week later I came across a similar pair with a low heel and the price was right: $4.50. And I have come to expect that sort of magic in my life. People around me who know me expect it too about me. They have seen me repeat it over and over. When I try to shock their sense of the ordinary I will brag about my latest magical accomplishment, whether it be cheap merchandise or a twenty-five cent book found at a garage sale that was worth $1200.00. I've gotten free dinners, free newspapers, free magazines, free money, free work, free jewelry, free readings, and free attention. People sometimes come up to me and just hand me money --just because! And I feel more than free to accept it because it is my creation and my affirmation to Self that I value who I am. My favorite moments of magic are when I turn on the radio and the song is one I created for Myself! This is the state of knowing for me that one is truly a magical being. Even small moments are sacred and beautiful. Although, I also get my share of oddball creations like broken refrigerators and furnaces. But, the occurrence is still magical and I must accept the fact that I am a powerful Creator!

Some of you may have a hard time accepting your own power. You don't feel worthy of being a Glorious Being! It doesn't make you any less magical. It will mean, however, that what you create will only reflect the belief that you hold that you are not worthy! And this is okay too! The point here is not to create specific results or goals, but to notice the magic you are putting into action through your own energy. Simply through affirming that this is your energy, your magic, and your results (whatever they may be) is enough to catapult you into the possibility that yes, indeed, you are a magical being!

The more I notice my everyday creations, the more I pay attention to Self. I become familiar with my own energy and how what I put forth brings back to me reflections of MySelf. It is inevitable. So, this month's Self-help exercise is to notice a magical moment. No matter whether it be a grandiose moment or not! You will know it when you spot it. It will feel magical. Accept the fact that you created that magical moment and accept it as your own. Acknowledge that you are an Awesome Creator. And finally, become familiar with the energy that you put out to create your own moment of magic! Once you get the ball rolling, there is no turning back! You will realize your own magical nature!
