Teachers

When I first started this journey, I had an individual that came into my life that helped me understand that I had many more choices than I was allowing myself. I called this person: "Teacher." As I continued on my journey, I met more individuals who were self-proclaimed teachers of the New Age movement. Inevitably, as my soul's thirst for new areas of self-exploration expanded, I would come to a point where my teacher, in that moment, could no longer meet my inner need for self-knowledge. Sometimes the departure was traumatic for either me or the teacher, other times it was accepted on both sides as a natural flow of energy. More often than not it seemed the conflict was always within the teacher, and not myself. For I was usually ready to move on, and they were not so happy to have one of their students leave.

A teacher builds a body of knowledge and disseminates it to his students or followers. They, in turn, become very adept at mouthing the tenants of the new faith and sometimes build groups of their own. This can be done under the blessing of the all-knowing teacher, or it can been done within challenge-mode. Energy is not static. Energy moves. It's only man that wants to capture the flow of energy and call it his own.

Once, a teacher of Oneness insisted my departure was unacceptable. He proclaimed that he alone knew the path and that I was "wasting my life" not following his lead. "Just remember the rules." He said quite authoritatively as he requested I rejoin. "Nobody stands in the Forum and confronts/wrangles with ANYONE..........least of all me. I did allow that before, in some cases (such as with you and another)...............but it is an unquenchable fire. People line up, one by one, and want to "dance with the Big Guy." I have no time for that."

It was rather amusing to me that this teacher can not accept the natural flow of energy. He sees it as a gunfight in the Wild West. He has built this town, from the ground up, and now he must protect it from marauding 'gunfighters' who come in to challenge his law-creating authority. I had quite a revelation on just how this scenario is bound to play out, just by watching "The Quick and The Dead" on tv. It was hilarious! The same words that I was hearing from this man, were also being mouthed by the gunslinger who claimed to own the town. He forgot that the town was built by MANY and not just ONE, and in the end, his lack of recognition of the power of the MANY caused quite an explosion! That which he created got reflected in his reality and shot him dead. This too is perfect. If we wish to believe that we can own free energy, it shall never manifest itself.. If we wish to believe this, that is a choice. Each choice has a consequence. It's less stressful, in my opinion, to understand that we do not own anything. Least of all, others' lives.

There are no teachers. There is only Self. Self seeks expression in the physical through it's mirror reflections. Energy that is stagnant will always seek a realignment because Self is always seeking growth. There is no judgment on this cycle, only that which we place on it. When our foundations get rocked, our social and economic structures tumble, who are we to fault? The other? There is no other. Our teachers, guides, and authority figures? There are none. There is only Self and there is NO FAULT in Self. If Self wishes to spend its entire life on the side of the road in shame and humiliation, this also IS PERFECT. Accomplishments are not necessarily a sign of great personal empowerment, merely the ability to hold fixed a concept in time that will also inevitably mutate and change. This is just one ability. We are endlessly endowed with wonderful abilities. Of what reason do we need to compare our growth to others? It is all PERFECT.

As you continue to go through these web pages, you will see signs of teachers and gurus. These are merely words to describe a fixed concept in time that you may wish to identify with as you choose your path of exploration. Remember also, however, what Elias says:

"You are fellow travelers, and you are sharing experiences and philosophies, ideas, emotions. But you are not learning from each other and you are not teaching each other, for as you do widen your awareness, you allow yourself the recognition that these terms now are obsolete. They merely reinforce the belief system of duplicity, in setting forth the idea and the association that any individual may be above another individual or below another individual.

Regardless of age, regardless of position, regardless of experiences or intellectual comprehension of ideas, none of you are manifesting within this physical dimension to be teaching or to be learning.

In this, as you allow yourself the exploration of the sharing with this individual, what you are allowing yourself is an opportunity to be objectively viewing, with more awareness, yourself and different qualities that you express and different behaviors that you express outwardly.

In interaction with other individuals that you deem to be close to you, you create an exchange that allows you to engage the other individual as a mirror. This offers you the opportunity to view self and familiarize yourself with self, for I shall express to you, all of you hold an objective and – for the most part – acute awareness of other individuals. You may look to other individuals and allow yourself a clarity in viewing what they are creating within their reality, how they are creating their reality, why they are creating their reality, but you do not afford yourselves the same awareness.

And as the point of this shift in consciousness is to be widening your awareness, therefore allowing you the ability objectively to create choices intentionally to be creating your reality in the fashion that you choose, you are also allowing yourself the viewing of self through the mirror action of other individuals." - ©Mary Ennis, 1995-2005, channeling Elias.
