"There are only two types of people: Those in service to others and those in service to self."-Maitraya through Benjamin Creme Our world is based on competition, the survival of the fittest. In this ideology, individualism is exalted to the expense of the weaker members of society. We believe we have made this a working solution, pointing out American capitalism as the pinnacle of the evolutionary cycle for this ideology. This is a world based on service to self. The result of this ideology is the deification of personal greed. The greedier one is, the more successful one is at hoarding the resources available, the more competitive and thus the "fittest" one is. Success in this culture isn't determined by how helpful one is to another, but how big a slice of pie you managed to get for yourself. The ideology of service to self can best be represented by a game of musical chairs. The premise of the game is that there will always be fewer chairs (resources) than people. Some chairs are leather, or recliners and others are straight-back wood chairs. Thus, when the music starts, we all start to dance our way around the chairs trying to position ourselves to grab the nearest and best chair when the music ends. Ever go through a series of layoffs? Doesn't it feel like a game of musical chairs? In the end, what happens in the game of musical chairs? There is one victor and the rest are losers, right? But, is the winner a winner if they stand alone? Who is there to support him when his chair disappears? The result of a service to self, ultimately, is a narrowing of the dimensions of self. If you can not empathize with someone as a part of yourself, you won't be able to access this dimension of self. Ultimately, you lose your support system until competition reaps the final result: success by virtue of disconnection from others. You stand alone until those limited resources disappear and then the game is truly over. There are no winners. Service to others is a philosophy that starts with the idea that something which benefits another will ultimately benefit society at large. A commitment to others is established with the knowledge that some self-sacrifice may be required. In this game of musical chairs, the premise is that there is always enough for everyone as long as all are willing to share. Before the music even starts a decision is made on what type of chair to use. This is the only type of chair used. The music starts, the people walk around. There is no longer a need to position yourself right next to a particular chair, you know that there will always be a space available and they are all the same. The music ends and everyone sits down, some sharing a chair while others sit alone. Then a teacher enters the game. The music starts, everyone sits down, except the teacher gives his chair to another player and brings wood to the game. He makes another chair and sits down. The game starts again and the this time the teacher and a pupil get up and make two chairs. There is an extra chair, and now some do not need to share. As soon as the everyone has a chair to sit on, the game disbands. There is no need to waste wood to make more chairs. The need has been met. Everyone wins. This is also the path towards self-integration. We accept all others as reflections of the Divine within ourselves. When we see the face of Christ in what others might consider as our "lesser brothers" then we begin to walk in Unity and Oneness. We open the pathways to unlimited dimensions of self and in cooperation with one another we lend our brothers and sisters a helping hand up the ladder of evolution. Beyond the fifth dimension there exist no service to self entities, IMO. They reap the karma of their destructive pattern and become extinct as they have forced other consciousness forms into extinction. When I began this journey over eight years ago, I naively thought that one can negotiate with anyone to the betterment of all. This is a correct assumption for those whose intention is the betterment of all, not for those who wish to better themselves at the expense of others. We can pray and meditate to help those entrapped in service to self, but negotiation should be done on a common philosophical basis: service to others. Otherwise, one risks being manipulated within the schemes of the service to self entities. Part of the re-design of this site was based on my understanding that there are many people in society today who are in deep need of personal support, whether it be financial, spiritual, emotional or psychological. As the awareness of the species increases, the need for competition or cooperation increases. Competition is the result of a service to self society. Cooperation is the result of a service to others society. When we are stressed as a species is when we see our true colors hanging out for all to see. So, the site is set up as a "co-operative of artists, teachers and healers" to aide and support the awakening of higher consciousness in mankind through the focus on the Divine. Anyone who wishes to add their energy to this site for the purpose outlined above is welcome here. Please join and help us build a unity of purpose throughout this world focusing on service to others. |
